Our partner ICANotes has achieved a significant milestone for its flagship electronic health record software. The ICANotes web-based behavioral health EHR, designed for psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, has received ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Complete Inpatient EHR certification.
The designation officially deems the software capable of enabling eligible providers and hospitals to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). It was tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program. ICANotes previously met the original requirements for Complete Ambulatory EHR certification. Chris Saviano, VP of Business Development for PGM Billing, said, “We want to congratulate the entire ICANotes team, including founder Don Morgenstern and CEO Rik Drummond, for achieving dual certification. This demonstrates that ICANotes can help both outpatient and now inpatient facilities reach meaningful use goals, improve their clinical care and practice evidence-based medicine.”
